Twynham Panto Group welcomes you all to this years production of J.M. Barrie’s much loved story of Peter Pan. Although it has become a firm pantomime favourite over the years, it is a little known fact that it started off life as a highly successful children’s play first performed in 1904. It wasn’t until 1911 that the play was expanded and published as a novel. Barrie donated the royalties to the Great Ormond Street Hospital for sick children to enable generations of children to grow and flourish. To this day, every public performance of Peter Pan is subject to performing rights and we hope that our contribution can help make a difference to a child’s life.
Come and see if Captain Hook can finally get the better of Peter Pan. Will he succeed this time or will good triumph over evil? Why are the lost boys still lost when we now have Sat-Nav and why do we have reservations about the Red Indians? Join us for a fun filled night to find out.
